Product Description Ingrid & Isabel Style 1111. Specifically designed for expectant mothers. Ultra-soft, stretch nylon. Holds up loose fitting pants, skirts or shorts. Disguises bulky unfastened buttons and zippers. Conceals excess fabric and smooths out panels. Ideal for extra reinforcement over maternity waistbands.

disappointing March 5, 2010 C. Abad (Douglas, AK United States) My friend suggested Bella Band as an alternative to buying maternity jeans. I was very excited about the product until I tried it first hand. I followed the directions on picking the size I needed and chose the size 1. I don't know if I wasn't big enough - I was about 13 weeks at the time I first tried it out in the real world. My regular jeans were already too tight to button up by then so the concept of the Bella Band was welcomed because I was starting to feel anxious about not having anything to wear. I wore them over my jeans that were unbottoned with a loose tunic to help cover up. The Bella Band kept riding up and I had to keep pulling it down. Plus, they didn't keep my jeans on me very well. I didn't do much activity when I was wearing them. I went to a friend's house to watch the Superbowl - so between walking to the car and sitting and walking to the food table, I was surprised at how much of nuisance it was to me. All in all, it wasn't as comfortable as the description made it out to be. Though, I didn't return it because I'm going to see how it works when I'm a bit bigger and also for post pregnancy use as the description mentions. I'm glad I only ordered one because they offered so many different colors and that made it tempting to order more. I picked Midnight so I could wear it with my dark jeans. The color works well with my dark denim. Let's just hope I will be singing a different tune about how it works.
Cheap material, runs small, belly band rolls up constantly! February 25, 2010 E. Udo (brooklyn, NY) Got this around 5-8 weeks to my pregnancy. I didn't find it all that great: the fabric looks fancier in pictures, they could have used a better design or rimming for the edges of the band, mine had no rimming, suprizingly you would think the black color I picked would blend well into my clothes- yet it was noticeable as it was sheer, very sheer.
Size ran small although I used their chart, kept rolling up & wouldn't stay around the hips.
I think they should've picked a fabric type that would have a widder stretch range to the woman's hips (since we change weekly in size; at times we'd just feel bloated.)
Not worth it! February 19, 2010 M. Lane I bought this so I could get a little more wear out of my regular jeans befor buying maternity jeans. It didn't help at all. It did cover the unbuttoned jeans but every time I sat down it rolled up. It was tight and uncomfortable.
Too Tight......still waiting for exchange February 19, 2010 E. Craig (Fort Worth, TX) First of all, I was disappointed that they didn't have my size in the color I wanted. I wear a pre-pregnancy size 20W and was looking to order size 3 in Black. Since they didn't have the black I ordered the midnight. It took 2 weeks to get to me (officially 2 days longer than Amazon's "delivery estimate"-very disappointing). Then when I received it, it was way too tight for me. Even though size 3 shows it goes up to pre-pregnancy size 22W, I felt like I was going to throw up wearing it. I emailed the Doula Shop and requested an exchange. Their website said they usually respond within 24 hours - it took 5 days (3 business days). I was told it takes 3 days to process the return. I mailed back the band with delivery confirmation. They received it a week ago and I still haven't heard anything. I emailed them tonight with my delivery confirmation information - I hope to hear something soon!!! I really hope I receive my exchange sooner! I have been incredibly frustrated with both my pre-pregnancy jeans (using the rubber band trick now at 18 weeks) and maternity jeans than won't stay up :(
It's ok ..... February 8, 2010 Kristi S. Mikle 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The whole "idea" of the Bella Band is a really good one but, it just doesn't work for me. I am constantly having to pull it up or push it down. I wear it folded down and everytime I sit it bunches up my back, and it gets twisted.
